What I want to achieve is to feed a CV input with trigs and use it to advance the table steps to have quantized voltages in the range of the table at the CV out and the corresponding trig at the Gate output. I would be able to use the Nerdseq the way I use the Bard's Quartet in arpeggio mode to be more clear.
I can do that with the method I mentioned but seems it needs a base note for the table to start working, however that note is added to the sequence so if I start it with a C-0 and then put a note off it works as intended, but then it needs again a base note to start the arpeggio on the next session.
Maybe there is a simpler method, if not would be great if the note off could start the table and do the job without have to start it manually.
I hope to have explained myself better, thanks for any suggestion!
Just to be sure:
- Tables are only running when the sequencer is running.
- Tables need to be started at some point and don't start by itself (and so don't iterate through the table steps)
- There is no basenote defined after startup and so the table never knows from which note it should transpose so it skips the transposition. Thats why at least once a note should have played to be able to transpose it.
I can't think of a way to get around this at the moment as the tables are build around a pattern currently and there is no way to feed it with an external basenote.
