Understanding sample size

I'd appreciate it if someone can give me some good tips on sample sizes (or formats) to get the most out of the sample player on the NS. I often find myself stuck with only two or three samples before it says too full. And, I'm also talking about the samples that come with the NS, not just my own.

Maybe there could eventually be a small 'how to use best' in the manual for some tips and tricks? I also often end up with very quiet sounds too, but that just might be the nature of the beast, and if so, well that's life.

Hm thats strange. My current project has several samples and the sample bank still isn't full. I'm using the NS samples plus a few of my own. Can you take a screen shot or picture of the sample screen?

Yes, I will do - I'll need to find a camera, but I'll post some later. I have also used NS samples, and I can't remember if I was able to use more samples in a project. I think that the NS samples are also in another format (RAW) - mine are in .wav, if that's of any use? However, it would be great to sort this out, as it's very limiting at present.
