I mentioned this in the discord, but thought I might put it here as well.
In a MIDI track it would be great to have a way to retrigger the last generated note. This comes in to play when using RNX in the note field. There is no way to replay that note in a following row. This is, of course, easy to accomplish in regular modular tracks as note and trigger/gate data are separate. Perhaps a “LNX” in a column could play the last note from X column. It’s possible there could be a slightly less immediate way to do this with mappings but, since the new puppy, I haven’t been able to do a deep dive
Also, currently I can’t work out a way to audition a note or chord in a MIDI track if there is a RNX command in a column. The normal method brings me to the random settings page. If there’s a free button combo, this would be helpful. I’m often doing fixed triads in three columns and a RNX extension in the fourth.
Thanks for the best sequencer around!
