Dualchord Expander

I'm a bit confused about how to connect the expanders together.

So I now have my Dualchord, which is connected to the NSA port on the Nerdseq. If I want to connect the 2hp MIDI expander, that should be connected to the Dualchords second NSA port (not that other port on the Nerdseq?).

So I need a ribbon cable that goes from 12pin (MIDI Expander) to 14pin (Dualchord NSA).

Do I understand this correctly? Somehow I never realised how many different kinds of ribbon cables there are....I don't think I have a 12->14pin one!

No.

Midi got its own port -> 12 pin   -> 2hp, Midi-IO or Multi-IO (one of these)
NSA got it's own port ->14 pin   -> Trigger16, CV16, Dualchord, Video Expander (VEX)

There is never a 12 -> 14 pin adapter


Thank you! I had forgotten that the MIDI expander doesn't show up on the loading screen and thought I had it plugged in wrong.
