multi IO encoder replacement
#1
Could you tell me what type of encoder I should buy to replace the faulty one on my multi IO module? thanks.

Also what would be a comparable detented or "click" encoder - how many detents/pulses would be necessary? Or is this simply a terrible idea and I should stick with a smooth encoder?

I would contact the manufacturer so he can fix it ;-)

I did over a month ago via the contact form on the website but have received no reply yet. I thought to just ask here as it will be faster for me to simply buy a new one and solder it on myself. I'm comfortable with desoldering/soldering, I'm just not confident identifying components.
