I've been running the new firmware for a couple weeks and played a live set with it last Sunday and haven't encountered any bugs. Super happy with it. I could be using the automators more, but the new reset functions, special fx, and nerd menu functions are all amazing additions.

ok I think i've discovered a bug

I run my nerdseq midi slaved to an elektron analog rytm, which is slaved to my DAW (Ableton or Bitwig depending on my mood).

when i start playback from the analog rytm, the sequences start to play on the nerdseq as well.

If I press play in my DAW, slaving the rytm to its clock, the nerdseq starts counting time but the sequences don't actually start to play. The stop icon is also present instead of the play icon.

It was not like this in the previous OS, everything would play fine.

I’m sure it’s something with your setup. It seems like the DAW isn’t sending part of the Midi Data.
If it sends midi start/stop and the clock signal all should be fine. I think nothing changed with that since V1.0

Edit: reading more carefilly i am sure you DAW is only sending MIdi Time signals instead of the needed clock, and the analog rhyjm only passes them thru. Insyead if the analog rhythm is Master, it sends the needed clock data.
It’s a setting in your DAW or the thru section of the analogue rhythm.

It's not my setup because I downgraded the OS and it works fine again.

You must have changed something in the way the OS handles midi data.

It has worked perfectly fine from the day I got it until I did the upgrade.

No video needed. Just a question, do you use the same project?
If yes, can you try yo turn off midi after you loaded the project and put it to midi slave again after that. Just checking if it’s still wrong then.
