#81
Did you check the midi note issue again? Because else i would prepare everything for the new release.

I found the timestamps in the project folder a bit off: The files are from July 6th 2061 while the files in the other folders have plausible timestamps.

Hey, yes thats correct. There is no clock inside the NerdSEQ so all saved files get a standard timestamp Smile

I normally wanted to release the new version today, but coming back from russia getting sick (most probably from the airplane food because i'm not the only one) and going to barcelona tomorrow for the Modular Day.
So it will be delayed for next week.

...maybe we will get some more info from Shledge until then...

Apologies... have been sick myself!

I can confirm it doesn't fix the MIDI note issue, it only fixes the issue in regards to MIDI clock.

In further inspection - the pitch still changes (although playing fast makes it slightly glitchy), but it stops sending triggers

Hmm they are no triggers with Midi.
I am most interrested in if it is also wrong with the stable V1.14.

I dunno - every time I press a key, it sends the respective 1/v oct voltage and trigger. If I play it carefully, it'll do both fine. It seems it can't handle particularly "fast" playing or multiple notes, which the means it'll stop sending triggers. It's indicated by the red square on the sequencer screen staying on, rather than only going on to indicate a key has been pressed.

What you describe with the red square is just the fact that the Note-Off command from Midi was missed (or never sent) for some reason.
I can't reproduce this with my setup and all issues with that were fixed long time ago in early firmwares. I also can't relate it to the new firmware.

Maybe you can record the midi-stream with some dignostic tool ( eg midi-ox or another ) so i can check the stream and replay it?

If it can't be replicated, then perhaps it doesn't play nicely with my MIDI interface. I'll try it out with another MIDI interface I have around.
