are the LFOs continuous or can we define a start/stop or length?

You can start, stop, reset they and more 
Place and lfo in the first automation slot number 0 
Go in any pattern 
Go to FX 
Find Automator 0 (ASL0)
Place cursor over 000
In the information row you will see:
Automator 0 } start 
Place parameter 001 to start your lfo here
Place parameter 000 to stop it
Place parameter 101 to reset it and keep it synch over patterns


From 000 to 099 it’s start 
From 100 to 199 it’s reset 
And so on over all Lfo parameters
So if you want at same time reset your lfo place: Automator 0 101 in same step you placed 001 but in the FX2 

So you can change speed, phase and all
