I noticed recently that Make Noise LXD and Optomix dont go as brighter when stroke with Nerdseq triggers compared with triggers from another modules. So it makes sense now knowing that the triggers have slightly lower voltage.

Make Noise Rene gate out = 0 low, 8v high.
Orthoganal Devices ER-101 gate out = 0 low, 9v high.
Malekko Varigate 8+ gate out = 0 low, 5v high.


So it varies quite a bit. Gate length and voltage does effect the vactrol inputs. You can use this to your advantage by using the cv or mod outs as suggested and modulate the voltage for some expressive rhythms.
