Drummatrix to CV16
#1
I have a multi-IO track. In that track, in the Drummatrix section, track 1 is the kick drum, track 2 is the snare, and track 3 is the hi-hats. I want to send those triggers to outputs 1, 2, and 3 of the CV16 expander.
Is that possible?

The CV16 is for CV's and not for triggers basically.
You could simulate triggers with the CV16 doing that through the mappings which would make it a bit more complex, but it is possible.

Please, I need help with this. I've tried everything, but nerdseq is giving me trouble.

In the track settings, drummatrix track one goes to xmap row 20.
In mapping row 20 --> CALC ADD =1+0 -> CV16 EV1O 1-1 no found, but CALC ADD =1+0 -> trig trig trig1 found

I haven't tried it yet, and there's still so much I have to try. It's getting tough.

I don’t exactly know what you want to do and what the question is…

I want to use Drummatrix tracks with the CV16 expander. I know there's an expander for this, but it doesn't fit in my case, and I have half of the CV16's outputs unused. Simply track 1 of drummatrix to cv16 1-1

I still haven't managed to find it. No matter how much I search, I can't find anything, and this issue has me completely stuck. I would appreciate any help to get out of this rut.

That does definitely work. Maybe you don't have your CV16 on channel 1? (Like default on delivery it is set to channel 2)
Try:  CALC  ADD =1=1  ->  CV16  EV1O  2-1
And be sure your envelope is being set to good values.

There's definitely something in my Nerdseq configuration that's conflicting with this procedure. It doesn't even work when starting a new project.
I have a second Nerdseq (backup) that I took out of the box yesterday, updated, and it works correctly there.

Now the question is, how can I "reset" a Nerdseq to its initial state, just like when you buy it new?

Maybe your firmware version and maybe your CV16 address. There is no factory reset thing, only probably calibration and general usage settings.
