Nerdseq + Drum Sequencer clock " issue " ?
#1
Hi XOR,

I'm having the strange situation when the Nerdseq is the master and the Erica Synth Drum Sequencer the salve.
For example, the BPM on the NERDSEQ = 130, on the Erica Synth Drum Sequencer, the BPM = 126 & 127. This cause a BPM issue on the Erica Synth Drum Sequencer changes the Pattern (I did contact them too).
But in the Drum Sequencer forum, it looks like the clock in of the drum seq (4PPQ clock) is inferior to the nerdseq (24 ppqn). I did contact Erica Synth too.
So I don't know who has to take care of this ?  Undecided

Here is a vidéo : https://youtu.be/ZiBhv_RHbQ0

I can‘t see the video here.
But in general, the Nerdseq can send either a stable 1/16 or a 24ppqn clock.
The Erica should sync to that. Just don‘t het fooled by the bpm numbers.
They can show differencies on any slaves.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
Every (unnessesary) forum support means less time to develop! But of course, i am here to help!  Smile

Thanks, yes indeed !

Looks like there is a difference between the clock sent by the Nerdseq and how the DS works. The clock in of the drum seq (4PPQ clock)
I think this is why there is an issue during the pattern change on the DS.

So for now I'm doing this :

Midi out to the Midi in of the Drum Sequencer.
Clock out of the Nerdseq to the 1U Mulf Buff
Clock out of the DS to Tempi
Looks like it's working.

Now I have to figure out how to do the pattern link one the Drum Sequencer when he's MIDI Slaved. I love modular Big Grin
