So it actually stops scrolling/navigation until the sample play is ready. It doesn't slow down (as far as my tests resulted). You can try it when previewing a longer sample. The time the sample plays you can't navigate. However all keeps on playing except for that all playing samples of this track will be silence as long as the sample plays.
You can directly stop the preview by pressing SHIFT+ LEFT/RIGHT again...in case the sample is too long.
I don't think it will cause any issues.
So it is implemented this way, as a full fledge preview with editing, scrolling, seeking directoriesb etc would be too much for this little embedded system
