I can copy and pase the pattern multiple times, but once i copy again a different pattern it messes up when i paste.
As a workaround I power cycle the system in order to clear the clipboard.
Is there another way to clear it?

I can't follow. Can you tell me how you do it? (maybe with a file so i can reproduce the exact steps)
