If you have a good solution, let me know. It is of course possible to make.
I will make it able to mute / solo the 8 triggers with the launchpad, but for the on screen i think it needs a good solution.

Reading through the rest of this thread and there is no good workflow solution I can think of. I do use a cheap mute module as you suggested and I'm using 16 trigs with the ALM squid salmple which has it's own muting func. Sounds like I should get a launchpad ASAP!

Definitelty....but you can already jump to another pattern with and without the LP and directly jump to your drumroll...same step in another pattern which is dedicated to drumroll.

I tried it and it's really  exellent! Thank you Thomas, one of the best addition for sure.

So I have a very small sub-request
Is it possible (and easely for you) to have a parameter in the "setup" for example (or elsewhere) where we can choose to arrive directly on the classic drum matrix in patern mode ? In this way the triggering part NSA will be really drum oriented if need be...
