Now this:
It's online, it's in the shop and the manual is uploaded as well. Please take your time to read what it adds to your system and what not!!

The new firmware looks terrific, and I'm considering getting both a CV16 and a Trigger16. I have a few questions that have arisen during my research:
-- Are the ribbon cables that connect the expanders to the NerdSEQ long enough so that the expander can be mounted on a different row from the NerdSEQ itself? (I found an older thread about this, but it didn't have a conclusive answer.)
-- I assume that the CV16 envelopes are linear? If so, are there any plans for other forms (e.g., log/exponential)?
-- Other than the circumstances mentioned in the manual (e.g., using the SD card while the sequencer is running), do we ever need to worry about overtaxing the CPU? I'm thinking about a situation with four expanders installed, and all tracks/expanders/automators running. Does the CPU have enough overhead for this?
Thanks, any information would be appreciated.

Ah yes, another thing about the ribbon cables. You connect only to one expander from the NerdSEQ. And then from the Expander to the next Expander and so on. These are daisy chained.

Great, thanks for all the helpful info. I think I'm sold, although I'm currently agonizing over which color scheme I should get.

I slotted my More Triggers in 3 rows up from my Nerdseq and it seems to work fine.

Could you use this expander to make 8 pairs of CV & Envelope, to play 8 voices?
Could you use a simple envelope from the expander as a trigger/gate for an external envelope?
