More CV Expander?

Just to be clear, I'm perfectly happy how the expander can used right now, I'm just brainstorming and expressing some ideas how this thing could be implemented.
How about providing the function within the mapping table as some sort of macro? Something like this:

In the modular track you could set FX MCV2 155 which would be expanded to SLFO 3155 on NSA 1. Maybe a bit complicated but you could get access to every FX on the CV16.
