I dont know if this is better put here or in feature requests, but it would be really nice to have access to the drum matrix view when connected to the 301 via i2c (in case that wasn't already planned.)

Hi, excuse my ignorance as I just got back to my Nerdseq after a few months.
I was looking for the drum matrix but I assume it's only here if you've got a trigger expander, isn't it ?
So my question is, does the I2C expander unveils the drummatrix view without the need of the trigger expander ?
Wow, sorry I should have read the posts above. Excited ! (but ordered the trigger expander anyway!)

Is there any updates or even an ETA on the i2c expander?

PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
Every (unnessesary) forum support means less time to develop! But of course, i am here to help!

Will the sequencing from the more trigger's expander be ported over to this so we can use that over i2c?

Can’t wait for the i2c expander - will be so cool to trigger the new Disting Ex’s polyphonic sampler.

I'd be very interested to know whether the I2C can be used to connect extra CV inputs to the Nerdseq. I.e. will there be an I2C input on the expander?
I would love to be able to use something like the Tesseract Modular Sweet Sixteen to expand the number of CV inputs on the Nerd as this would enable me to record more than 4 tracks of CV simultaneously
This would be a game-changer for me
