I don't think this will happen before Q1 2021. There is so much to do still and I got to see yet if the production is running well.

I have a question regarding this new I2C MIDI expander, Can I still use the joystick function if I already have used the 4 expansion slots? or will I need to remove one other expander?
I am confused with this.
Thank you.

Yes, there will be an adapter for the sega gamepad. So it is 4 NSA + Midi + Gamepad.

Still other things to do first. Sorry for the waiting.
Sorry to pile on here but I think pretty much EVERY ER-301 user (myself included) would buy an i2c expander for their Nerdseq if and when it’s available. I’m currently using my nerd with the Cv and trigger expanders and I have a pretty wild amount of cables going all over the place. It would also free up my ER-301 inputs to the effect that it could potentially serve as my entire mixing board which would be doubly useful!

Working hard to get everything done. First moving my company and home as we speak, then get back 100% to get the I2C expander ready. Little reminder: The hardware is already produced, so it is a firmware thing to get it ready.

Would it be ok to tell us the size (hp wise) of the i2c expander so I can plan my case accordingly?
Phenomenal work with all the development going into Nerdseq. This is probably the single most powerful hardware sequencer ever, both euro and non-euro, and it's still expanding!!
