Using the note mode on the launchpad is such a cool feature, and being able to swap between playing notes and controlling the patterns is great for performance.
I like to keep midi input enabled on a bunch of tracks then change the midi channel on the launchpad when in note mode, then I can jam along with any of the tracks (sounds) I like. When I want to record one I just enable record on the track I want. Easy!
I'd love to be able to trigger different samples on tracks 7&8. It would be cool if each row on the launchpad triggered a different sample slot and the buttons across played different pitches (or maybe volumes?).
It would need some kind of note map and I don't know what is planned for the midi side of sample tracks yet, so just an idea anyway.
A delete function (both for removing events AND patterns if that's still being considered) as well as delete during recording (table key) on the launchpad would be really useful.
Also a way to make new patterns on the launchpad would be great. Maybe just an OK shortcut might be useful in general.
I highly recommend using the launchpad as a dedicated controller, it was a great choice of device and already opens up the Nerdseq's functionality nicely. Thanks
