Sure, the midi recording feature is already there, I thought I would mention how I am using it (now that I understand how midi input works)
Maybe someone else doesn't realize you can do this so worth pointing out. It's a great feature and I didn't think it would be this easy to switch between tracks for playing live.
I forgot there were other launchpad types that don't have all the buttons / features of the Pro. I can totally understand why you would want to support all of them in the same way.
I don't have a Sega controller yet so perhaps that will let me delete and enter things (perhaps when the buttons are programmable).
Of course it's not a problem to do this on the Nerdseq but its nice to be able to do these things with remote control too.
For making or deleting a new pattern a good shortcut could be to press and hold a pad for a few seconds, if the slot is empty it creates a new pattern, if its populated it deletes it.
This might not be possible of course and isn't really a big deal, but it could be very useful.
