Hi,
Are you able to get different clock divisions on each track of the expander or do all 16 outputs use the same track clock division? Can i set the clock divider for the expander track to *6?
I was hoping to use this as the hub to clock all of my other sequencers from.

Hey Thomas,
When I wrote on another topic about the slight delay between triggers coming out of the outputs, you said that is unavoidable and to use resets on a track output above the output I use for the clock.
I just want to know if the trigger expander also has this issue? So I’d have to use higher outputs for my resets. I was going to replace sending triggers/clock outputs from my DAW as audio like I’m doing at the moment, with sending them from the expander.

If I clock my sequencer from output 1 and send a reset on output 2 sometimes the sequencer doesn’t reset properly. You suggested I swap the output over and this worked- sending the reset on output 1 and clock on output 2.
I just wondered if this would apply to the expander too.

Just to clarify: The trigger outputs don't have a delay issue. Also in general this is not a NerdSEQ issue.
As it is software there have always to be a order and in the case of the NerdSEQ it is Track 1 to 8 and so the triggers will always happen in a order and in fact, you most probably can't measure any difference.
The trigger expander works of course in the same way as it is also software, so the Triggers are handled from 1 -> 16.
So the fact that there is a order is a good one, because you can use the knowledge to do things like you do. If they would be exactly at the same time then your device would most probably work sometimes well and sometimes not.
It's actually different from hardware where you can never predict any order (except for if the hardware is designed to have a specific order). Here the order depends on component tolerances, temperature etc.
