Inverse a track trigger
#11
Hello,

first, thanks for such a great sequencer and impressive effort you invested for developing and adding new features, really enjoying it. However, when it comes to mixed environment with some s-trig eurorack modules (eg. Envelope generator 911 from Behringer), vintage MS-10/20 and standard eurorack v-trig, it starts to be a bit painful. I am aware of "invert" option in track trigger settings, but it doesn't work as s-trig. I've tried different trigger values (as was recommended earlier in this thread) but E.G. doesn't react to it. Is it complicated to implement an option to choose v-trig, invert and s-trig? I've got also Arturia Keystep and Korg SQ-1 and with both I can drive eurorack and vintage stuff easily. I don't belive Nerdseq cannot hanlde it and I need to make v-trig to s-trig cable :-)

You indeed got to make these cables or modify your behringer gear.
In fact, behringer doesn’t follow the ‘eurorack standards’ with their eurorack modules.
The trigger output of the NerdSEQ are only able to generate 0 to 5 volt which is the correct value for gates/triggers. V-trig / S-trig have their states inverted and using negative voltages (which is totally cool for vinrage synths and modulars, but not for eurorack).
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
Every (unnessesary) forum support means less time to develop! But of course, i am here to help!  Smile

Ok, gotta make a cable then, thanks for explanation.
