Pattern Trigger Behaviour
#1
So I'm experiencing something and I'm not sure why is that.
I have one note on first step in the pattern with trigger value 40 and second note on 8th step without any trigger. Trigger output is going in to Zadar input.
When I hit play, the Zadar will recieve trigger from the first step and envelope starts progressing. But as soon as 8th note is played the Zadar resets. And there is no trigger value on the 8th note. When I remove the 8th note the Zadar will finish the whole envelope to the end.
Can someone please explain me why is this happening?  Huh

If autogate is on then it’s like this:
The first trigger starts the envelope and let it also release directly, because it was a trigger.
If you have autogate on then the 2nd note sets only the gate. This will stay on then until the note is turned off or a new trigger happened.

Thank you for fast reply Thomas.
I put the trigger value for every note and its working fine.
So basicaly leaving the Auto Fill in Trigger option ON will solve this.

Yep, definitely a solution. In main, make a difference in Gates and Triggers.
Gates are for when you want a note to play longer than a step mostly and triggers more to trigger drums or an envelope (if you don't want to hold in sustain).
And autogate takes care that the gate is set automatically when a note is filled in (without a trigger), and the best compagnion for this is a note off at another place.
