Tracks 7 and 8 assignable to expander option?
#1
Not too sure how possible this will be. I think an option to use track 7 and 8 for expander modules like the More triggers or move CV will be useful. For regular tracks I can understand it will not work as there is only one output, but for expanders I dont see a problem with functionality. This is allow more free space on the rest of the tracks 1-6.  Tongue

Can you explain what is happening here? I cannot recreate. Usually a trigger patch should not load onto the sample channel but as shown in the video, exactly that is happening. At least on the screen.

EDIT: Firmware 1.21

I cannot recreate but it happened with Load Sample Block hex, jumping between kits at high speeds.

Hey, i don't know what happened here. How much are your samples filled? Close to the edge (200k)?
Also, what kind of a project is this? From an older version? Was pattern 01 a usual sample pattern with information? Why are these 01 and 02 and the others much higher?
And did you save this file and do you have the original so i can compare them?

And if possible, maybe you can set the video to unlisted. People who search on youtube just see like a bug without the context of whats going on here.

The video is already set to unlisted for obvious reasons. Fear not.

This was an old project that I crunched down and took sample patterns out of. (I know!)
After deleting unused patterns and unassigning the trigger channel from 1 & 2, back to MODULAR, I performed COMPACT SEQUENCER function, started preparing new sequencers in the sampler channels - starting from pattern 0. It was working fine for a few play throughs.

Each sample pattern is 1 bar of 64 lines, with a LOAD SAMPLE BLOCK hex at the end of every 4th bar. I'll just assume not to load old projects with new firmware, as stated in update thread. I was just so overwhelmed to see Triggers 16 on the sampler channels that I had to show you.

I've saved over the project now and not in any rush to sit here trying to break the NerdSEQ today to try and recreate it, so no project file unfortunately. So we'll can bounce this one to the conspiracy section, no recreate no bug, right? Allas, an interesting non-bug/bug, even if executed against the manual's recommendations.

Thanks Thomas, everything else seems to work like a dream. 10+/10  Heart
