Full Midi-CV converter
#1
Imported from old Forum:
Hi !

It would be great if the NerdSeq could be a full-featured midi-to-cv converter. Then it would truly become the heart of my modular system, and I wouldn't need anything else !

By full-featured I mean (from most to least important) :

1- the ability to use all CV outputs in combination with one gate in order to extensively animate a tone across several modules with many MIDI CC controls
2- the ability to split CV outputs between several MIDI channels (e.g. CH1 -> 1 gate, 4 cv ; CH2 -> 1 gate, 4cv ; ...)
3- polyphony on one channel (1 gate, 1 cv per note; or maybe 1 gate, 2cv per note)
4- polyphony split between several channels (perhaps one poly and one or more mono...)
5- any possible combination of 1, 2, 3 and 4
6- portamento time (or rate) controllable through MIDI CC
7- a selection of different portamento curves, in both constant time and constant rate
8- portamento time (or rate) controllable via CV
(I'm listing the portamento implentation as least important because slew generators are cheap)

That's some work, I know. Too bad I am so lame at low-level programming, because I sure would like to help make this happen Undecided

... some might also want :

9- tracker to midi output

but not me ;-)
