And maybe you got ‘force hdmi’ turned on or the hdmi cable still connected.

how embarrassing.. I missed a couple steps when setting up the video expander on the nerdseq itself which is why I thought I may have needed a firmware update to get things started.

This expander works great!

Thank you!

Edit: nvm. I found my error.

What was the error? I'm getting the same thing right now

Just follow the instruction sheet which came with the expander and all should be fine.

cfdjIs this expander works with some wireless keyboards that have a USB receiver?

Yes. I have a bluetooth keyboard with a dongle and that works fine.

Small question, what bluetooth dongle are you using?
I got a Keychron V3 Max that does both 2.4 ghz and bluetooth, but can seem to get neither to work. The 2.4ghz receiver pairs visibly, but no input. Wired however does work! I'd like to try regular BT but the omly adapter I have doesn't seem to pair.

I got one microsoft keyboard with a bluetooth dongle and another one from logitech and they both work fine.
Did you try with a hub in between?

I tried with a hub (non powered and powered), cable extension and anything else I could come up with, none work.

I bought a generic USB A Bluetooth dongle, but I don't think that's going to work if I'm correct (since it needs drivers to work on Windows and no way to pair?)

My current thought is that it has to do with the selection of which device is being used. When I connect the receiver of the keyboard to my computer, it shows up as 3 separate devices in the device manager, all 3 "USB Input Device" under the HID section, I think due to the ability to hook up multiple peripherals. Perhaps Nerdseq chooses one of the three, but the receiver is actually only outputting to one of those 3 devices? I checked to see the behaviour with multiple keyboards attached and it indeed only picks up one (the first connected), so I could see it potentially being the cause. It's a shame cause I bought the keyboard specifically for wireless Nerdseqqing Angel  (not your fault of course).

Is there currently any way or debug function to select a device on the USB port if multiple are present?
