More than 4 note polyphony?
#1
Hello, I've just received my midi expander today and what I understand is that the max polyphony is 4 notes. Are there any plans to customise the max amounts? I wanted to use it with my Deepmind 6 to compose some sheet music into it, but I'm limited to the four note polyphony.
So far I've just been inserting the chords and playing melodies manually.

Thanks!

4 note polyphony for midi is indeed the max and there is no possibility to get more voices.
However, no one stops you from using 2 midi tracks to the same midi channel which makes it 8 voice polyphonic...or even if you use all 6 tracks, 24 voice polyphonic ;-)
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.

A nice little workaround to this is if you have the CV Expander you can have 6 lanes of CV in one track, so you can use Track 1-2 for midi but then still allocate detailed info for Local CV 1-2 into Track 3. Smile
