midi clock setup -> reset
#1
hi, i was a bad boy  Wink
power up - project setup - clock to midi slave - start midi sequencer (nerdseq still in setup view) -> nerd reset
fw 1.10

tried a few ways with a pattern available and it behaved flawless.. doesn't seem to be a real problem then.

another clock related thing is that the clock output stays quiet now after starting midi when no pattern is available. it would be nice to have it started.

I will fix the reset issue, which is not a too big issue in my view as it only applies to never touched totally empty stage after power on.
But will be fixed anyway.

Both issues will be fixed in one of the coming versions.

since you are hanging out in the midi department right now fixing minor stuff, i got another one for you! shameless me.

i remember you stated this at some point but i totally forgot about it..
recently i connected the midi module (acquired new rackspace) and sometime later i was wondering why some drums started to play along with my midi controlled synth..
so i learned (again) that nerdseq reacts to incoming midi notes .. but i couldnt turn it off easily!

thats my non-urgent feature request: option to turn off midi note processing (but not the clock)

That is added in Firmware V1.13 and newer.

Notice this still causes my nerdseq to reset sometimes - I'm on 1.14.

Yes it is not fixed yet. I had it as a minor bug since it only happens directly after startup without any data filled in.
