Yeah I'm from Iceland!
Going from a Nerdseq to the vector and back to the nerdseq I can totally say that playing live with a nerdseq is wayyyy more fun!
I like it live because I can for example play song A with appropriate patterns and then switch the patterns to song B individually for a track.
So like for example, keeping Rings and a hi-hat going from song A and then start a bassline from song B and then fade between. Dream for live playing.
ALSO my main gripe with the Vector is the glide implementation, it's really weird, you don't just say "glide from step 6 to 7" you have to kind of implement a tied note with legato or something? It's really weird how Jim implemented that.
I really didn't like it compared with the nerdseq where you just say glide value is "4" on step 4 and then say glide value is "0" for step 5 and boom you've got a sick ass glide.
The live performance and that juicy glide with the nerdseq(and smaller HP) is what made me switch again. Also I think I like a tracker type sequencing more.
I can see everything at the same time and I don't have to switch between pages to see the glide, MOD cv, gates and cv.

I think the Vector does what it does really well.
The reason I decided to go back to the NerdSeq was that while it has lots of nice options for random/probability and other shenanigans, the NS just does that so extensively and effortlessly. Also the ability to see and select your sequences in the way it is in the NS is really nice, as you said.
Probably the biggest downer for me was the lack of proper live recording from MIDI. a keyboard is my preferred input method so that's a key feature.
