random modulation to envelopes

Yeah, the option to do "Elektron-style p-locks" type of automation would be very very very cool. It's a really fast workflow for lively patterns.

I got to say that P-locks make mostly sense if every possible parameter would have it's own place in the sequence which is how elektron sequencers are designed from the begin.
It might be more accessible for a per step situation, but as in the NerdSEQ it has no benefits at all. In most of the cases a function stays for multiple steps and then it would only fill your precious FX. And beside that they are also too many pitfalls here as well since many parameters can be manipulated from other tracks and parts which are not related to this one local step. What's the main value then, is there a main value and where do you set it (for each track).

My personal view is still that you don't want to fill in the value for each step if the value you want to have doesn't change. I see more benefit in how it is used with the NerdSEQ. Because with it you can still do everything with very little information/changes needed but can still do stuff in between. And you are still able to fill in on every step if that is what you want to do. Just don't forget to set it to the regular position then at the end ;-)

So sorry to disappoint you, but i give it a very low PRFX  Wink to be implemented.
