In the LFO options, one of the clock options is 

STP-SLT → Advances a step on the LFO based on the zero cross of another slot (which could be for example an external CV clock)

How do you choose the slot that is used?

Oh yes, missing part in the manual. The speed parameter decides which slot is being used.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
