Opposite of Clone to Modular
#1
Hello,

With regards to :

Clone to Modular → If enabled, the midi notes and note off from the first note column is also being sent/cloned to the local CV and gate output of the track. Midi on sets the Gate and the CV value to the note and Note off (also with kill) resets the gate again.

I would like the opposite to happen as follows:

I would like to set Track 1 as a MIDI channel (channel 1).
Send Notes and Gate from Track 1 via MIDI to an external synth.
But....
I would like to have the local CV, Trigger and Modulation of Track 1 to ignore the notes being played via MIDI and send a set of completely different notes, triggers and modulation to that of the MIDI out of the local outputs.

This essentially gives me both a MIDI track and a local CV, Trigger and MOD track all on the same track!

Is this possible?

The manual says - Page 36 under Pattern Screen (Midi tracks)

4 Note columns where each Note columns has the Note Value and a Velocity value. The
Velocity (mostly volume) can be from 00 (Note off) to 7F. So 4 voice polyphonic midi sequencing per track is possible. Additionally also notes for the local CV, MOD and Trigger/ Gate outputs can be filled in here.

Thank you!

Wow!

So you can have 6 local CV, trig and Mod tracks AND have 4 MIDI tracks on 4 of the local tracks all working independently!!?!? Thats amazing!

Sadly, I don't have one yet and mine will not be shipped until the new year. If you have any demo units flying around feel free to send me one in the meantime ;-)

Yes, the midi tracks can control the local CV/Gate stuff
as well. You got 4 columns and you can decide if they should be midi, cv or gate.

No demo units :-) and even with me you would have to
wait now since I also try to have some days off (and hopefully finally make some music myself again)
